Physiology

Introduction

Human physiology is the science of the mechanical, physical, and biochemical function of humans, and serves as the foundation of modern medicine. As a discipline, it connects science, medicine, and health, and creates a framework for understanding how the human body adapts to stresses, physical activity, and disease.

Mission

The mission of the Department of Physiology is to:

• Improve learning and education of physiology in an integrative manner with basic medical sciences in medical college.
• Enhance and improve research activities as target aim for the staff members and students of BDS First year.
• Do our best in instilling virtue, professionalism, and competence in our students.
• Provide a working environment based on respect; valuing individual contributions empowering teamwork.
