On 4^th October 2023, the HITEC Dental Alumni Council (HIDAC) conducted it’s first-ever elections for the position of President. The election marked a significant milestone in the history of our alumni community, demonstrating our commitment to democratic representation and active alumni involvement in the decision-making processes of the association. Dr. Kanwal Tariq &Dr. Shawaiz Khan, two very enthusiastic alumni members expressed their willingness to serve as President. Each candidate brought a unique set of skills, experiences, and visions for the alumni association

The first elections for the post of President marked a historic moment for the HIDAC. The event showcased the enthusiasm and active participation of our alumni community in shaping the association’s direction. The newly elected President, Dr. Shawaiz Khan with the support of the alumni members, is poised to lead the association with dedication, passion, and a strong commitment to fostering a vibrant and engaged alumni network.

Our latest alumni event was a fantastic blend of nature, camaraderie, and delightful moments shared among our cherished graduates. Here are some highlights from the recent hiking and brunch trip:

Location: Margalla Trail 5 Islamabad & The Monal Restaurant 

Participants: Class of 2022 & 2023

Alumni of Hitec Dental College gathered bright and early to embark on a picturesque hike through Margalla Trail 5 Isb. The trail treated participants to stunning views of rolling hills, scenic overlooks, and enchanting flora. This hike fostering a sense of adventure and unity among our alumni community.

As our Alumni members navigated the trails, conversations flowed freely, echoing laughter, shared memories, and stories from their academic days. It was heartening to witness friendships reunited.

Brunch Gathering:

Following the hike, everyone regathered at the Monal restaurant to refuel and indulge in a well-deserved feast. The brunch spread featured a delicious array of dishes, providing the perfect setting for alumni to relax, unwind, and continue their conversations.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the participants whose enthusiasm and presence made this event a resounding success. A special thank you to our guides, volunteers, and organizers who worked tirelessly to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone.
