Oral health awareness interactive session by Dr. Shahreen Zahid Khan as part of World Oral Health Day Campaign 2023

On 8th of March 2023, Dr. Shahreen Zahid Khan, along with the Head of the World Oral Health Day campaign at Dental College HITEC-IMS, visited a school in Wah to conduct an interactive lecture on oral health awareness. This visit was a part of the college’s annual initiative to promote oral health awareness among the community.

The lecture was attended by school kids ranging from 9 to 13 years old. Dr. Khan engaged the students in an interactive session, where she shared information on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and the common oral health problems that can arise if proper care is not taken.

In addition, Dr. Khan also informed the students about the dental services available at Dental Hospital HITEC-IMS for those in need of oral health care. This initiative aimed to promote the accessibility of dental care services to the community and ensure that people are aware of the options available to them.

Overall, the visit was a success in terms of raising awareness about oral health and promoting the availability of dental services in the community. By conducting such activities, Dental College HITEC-IMS is taking a proactive approach to promote oral health awareness and prevent dental problems before they arise.
