Workshop on Rotary Endodontics

Introduction

The department of Operative dentistry organized a one-day workshop on rotary endodontics as part of faculty development program. The workshop was convened by Prof Dr. Beenish Qureshi, Dr.Sharaz Ahmed (AP), Dr. Amna Riaz (AP) and Dr Usman Ashraf.

The workshop was conducted in the skills lab on the 17^th of Dec and was attended by faculty members of basic and clinical sciences.

 

The session began with a detailed lecture on rotary endodontics followed by hands on demonstration of rotary canal preparation with Protaper gold system on typhodonts.

 

The Principal Dental college HITEC-IMS, Prof Dr Irfan Shah also actively participated in the workshop. At the end of workshop, the participants were handed out certificates of participation.

 

The department of Operative dentistry and endodontics wishes to carry out such activities in future for the faculty and participants from other institutes as well.
