Dental College HITEC-IMS organized an Oral Health Awareness and Screening Camp

Dental College HITEC-IMS organized an oral health awareness and screening camp on 7^th November 2023. This oral health program was a community service initiative of HITEC Dental College, with the primary objective of raising awareness about oral hygiene and to spread knowledge of different dental treatments.

The event was organized by Community Dentistry department in Nova City School, Wah Cant. The team members included faculty from all clinical departments and house officers.

The camp started with a presentation on oral health by Dr. Maria Rabbani followed by free dental examinations to identify oral health issues. A total of 500 patients were examined, each receiving detailed reports outlining their oral health condition. Patients in need of treatment were provided referral to HITEC Dental hospital at discounted prices ensuring they had access to care they required.

In conclusion the camp was a huge success and had a positive impact on students awareness .With such achievements in mind, we are determined to continue organizing such camps in future.
