Blood Donation Camp

A one day blood donation camp was held at HITEC IMS on 21^st Feb in collaboration with “ Thalassemia Welfare Society”. It was a resounding success with enthusiastic participation from students, faculty and members of the local community. Organized by Blood donation society-HITEC IMS, the event aimed to address the critical shortage of blood supply in hospitals while promoting awareness about THALASSEMIA and the importance of voluntary blood donation.

The blood donation camp featured various activities aimed at engaging and educating participants. These activities included registration of donors, health screening conducted by medical professionals, donation processing using sterile techniques and equipment, refreshments and rest area and interactive sessions with chief guests; Lt Gen Parvaiz and Maj Gen Qamar un Nisa and Col Kamran. The guests educate participants about significance of blood donation and its impact on saving lives. Total units of blood collected were 85-90 units. The society members extends their heartfelt gratitude to all donors, volunteers, organizers and partners whose dedication and support made this event a resounding success.
