Research Methodology Workshop
Research methodology workshop was conducted at Dental College HITEC-IMS by Research cell department in collaboration with CPSP in November.
The contents of workshop were:
- Research topic selection
- How to write rationale and objective of your research.
- Types of study designs
- Sample size calculation
Research is a careful consideration of a study regarding a particular concern or a problem using scientific methods. The Health Care Organizations exert significant influence on the manner in which clinicians practice and the processes and outcomes of care that patient’s experience. Innovations are introduced through effective implementations of research into practice.
A two day workshop on research methodology was facilitated by CPSP facilitator Dr.Tayyaba Faisal, consultant epidemiologist .The workshop focused on the area of designing research question, its methodology, the statistical analysis, calculating sample size and report writing. The faculty showed huge interest in attending this workshop and expressed their interest in organizing more of these activities. Such accomplishments will help inculcate and innovate research culture in our organization.
