Poster Competition
Inspired by the growing readership globally, The Dental College HITEC IMS, Poster competition aims to sponsor opportunities for inspiring dentist to pursue their interest in the art of article writing, augment their power of presenting along with communicating their ideas and essentially to enhance their critical thinking.
A poster competition under the supervision of HOD Dr Danial Qasim was organized by the Department of Oral Pathology. Participants of the competition were 3rd year BDS students, who were divided into groups of 7 and each was assigned an article related to various oral pathologies
In the following week, each group was given an opportunity to deliver a 10-minutes presentation of their designed posters. The posters and presentations were graded by a panel of judges, which included Prof Dr Irfan Shah, Dr Rai Tariq and Dr Sadaf Mumtaz. The criteria for award was fortified on the different parameters which mainly included assessment of creativity, topic knowledge and presentation of articles.
Top 3 winner groups received shields from the Dr Irfan Shah. Below is the list of participants and their assigned topics in accordance to their position in the HITEC poster competition.
We encourage students to take the mission forward and participate in such championship events regardless of their research background.
