Introduction

The Dental Education Department successfully conducted a workshop on orientation to integrated curriculum and Assessment, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Faizan Munir Khan. The workshop aimed to enhance faculty member’s understanding of the Integrated curriculum and its assessment, ensuring better implementation of the integration system in the college.

Workshop Overview

Dr. Faizan facilitated an engaging and informative session, making the workshop highly interactive. The session covered key aspects of integration, its characteristics, and assessments in integrated curriculum and integrated curriculum in the local context (in the context of dental college HITEC-IMS). Faculty members were encouraged to participate actively through discussions, queries, problem-solving, and real-time feedback sessions.

Faculty members expressed their satisfaction with the workshop and highlighted its usefulness in refining their teaching and assessment strategies in an integrated curriculum.

• Regular workshops on research (SPSS advanced and basic, referencing in article writing, research funding, sample size calculation)
• Workshop on SAQs construction.
