Hands-on Workshop on Crown Preparation by Department of Prosthodontics

As part of faculty development, A workshop was conducted by the Department of Prosthodontics on “Crown preparation” on 11th August 2022 from 9.00a.m-3.00pm at Dental College HITEC-IMS. Honorable guest facilitators Dr. Rashid Habib (Professor of Prosthodontics, King Saud university KSA) and Dr. Syed Nasir Shah (Dean KCD), conducted the workshop. The workshop was convened by Dr Amir Rafique, Dr Sameen Zehra and faculty members from the prosthodontics department.

 

The objective of the workshop was to allow the faculty with an opportunity to practice hands-on tooth preparation and temporization.

 

After a welcome note by the Principal Dental College HITEC-IMS, Prof Dr Irfan Shah, interactive lectures were given by presenters followed by a live demonstration in skills lab and hands-on learning opportunity for the participants. A productive question-answer session was carried out to ensure participants learning.

Principal medical college HITEC-IMS, Maj. Gen Hamid Shafiq and Prof. Dr Irfan Shah, principal Dental College HITEC-IMS distributed souvenirs to facilitators and certificates to the participants.

 

Faculty from various departments of the dental college were in attendance.
