A full day BLS workshop for Dental Surgery Assistants under the Faculty & Staff Training Program was conducted by the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. A total of 08 participants from all clinical departments completed the workshop, including lecture & hands-on training on adult and infant mannequins. Dr. Fatima Khattak and Dr. Maimoona Siddiq conducted the Basic Life Support and Choking lecture session. Dr. Sadia Moin and Dr. Muhammad  Bilal facilitated the hands-on activity. Participants learned and practiced effective Chest Compressions and ventilation with an AMBU bag and CPR pocket mask.  BLS protocols, Adult and infant choking, and call to emergency services. This one-day intensive activity also included assessment by the facilitators and certificate distribution by the Principal Dental College.
